We promised that we would have more ready to bake cookie dough for the busy housewives (and stay at home dads) and here it is.


Just a reminder about the sugar cookies....

The ready to bake sugar cookie dough is in 500gram rolls. These can be kept in the freezer until needed. Allow them to thaw and roll them out, cut out your shapes and bake. As easy as that.

If you don't .feel like rolling out and cutting the shapes, that can also be overcome. When your roll of dough is still quite hard you can slice it with a nice sharp knife into rounds. You can bake them as they are or you could spruce them up a bit with sprinkles, chocolate chips and many other ideas. Check them out here.

We also have custard cookie dough in 500gram rolls. While still quite frozen cut into rounds or defrost and roll into little balls and press slightly flat with a fork. A cookie gun is also a very good option.

The 500 gram rolls of Meltaway dough work best if rolled into small balls and dipped in sprinkles after they are baked while still slightly warm. Another option is to roll them in icing suger when cold. This can be rolled out and cut with a cookie cutter too. Slicing them into rounds while still quite frozen is also an option. As the name suggests, it simply melts in your mouth.

Here is a solution for those people who find it difficult to roll the dough evenly. Use 2 dowels the thickness you require the dough to be and place them on either side of the dough when rolling. A narrow, flat piece of board also works well and does not roll away as easily as the dowel.
